Circuit Overview:
A digital synthesizer which utilizes special processing chips designed to support Yamaha's FM synthesis architecture. These synths are essentially two DX7's with expected ability to arrange them in various ways giving up to 32 voices of polyphony.

Service Tips:
I've found most of these units to be fairly rock solid circuitry wise. Abused units sometimes have solder problems. Never worked on one of these? Anything anyone knows let me know.

Parts:
While Yamaha normally does not keep parts around more than 5 years or so, some older ones can be gotten from NTS Pro Audio. Otherwise try your local Yamaha dealer or Service person.
