A digital synthesizer with fairly comprehensive workstation capability and expansion options. Many versions released with 61 to 88 key movements and racks.
Service Tips:
I've found most of these units to be fairly rock solid circuitry wise. Watch for loose screws under the main board shorting things out. Glue those down!
Parts:
While Yamaha normally does not keep parts around more than 5 years or so, they still support most motif I think.
